Ashley Balch is in his 11th season with the Huntsville Havoc and enters his first as President.
Balch served as the Vice-President of Communications for the Tennessee Valley Vipers of the Arena Football 2 league from 1999-2003. Balch's 2001 Media Guide was named Best in Arena Football 2 and his 2002 Media Guide was named Second-Best. Balch served as the Sports Information Director at Alabama A&M University from 1997-1999.
Balch is a 1993 graduate of Hartselle High School; in 1997 Balch received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of North Alabama.
Balch served as the Press Tribune Manager for Volleyball at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and has worked with the Blue/Gray All-Star Game, the Alabama High School Athletic Association and the Division II National Championship Game.
Balch and his wife, Amy, have a 12-year-old son, Bryce, and a nine year-old daughter, Eliza Claire. They reside in Hartselle.
